Blending Arabica and Robusta is less common in specialty coffee, but when it is done with intention it produces something neither varietal achieves alone. The Arabica brings flavour complexity and sweetness. The Robusta brings body, structure, and a richness that sits at the base of every sip. Washed and natural processing applied across the blend adds further layers, the washed component keeping things clean and defined while the natural component pushes the caramel sweetness forward. The result is a cup that is complex without being difficult, rich without being heavy.

Gungegiri Estate sits at 1350 to 1400 metres in Karnataka, a region that has been growing coffee seriously since the 19th century. Veer Attikan Coffee has been working this land since 1882, and that kind of generational farming knowledge shows in the cup. At this elevation, Arabica and Robusta grown together develop a balance that is hard to replicate elsewhere. Midnight Orchard is a medium roast expression of that balance, roasted to a CF of 66.7, precisely where the chocolate and nut character of this blend peaks without losing the caramel sweetness underneath.
