Karadykan Esatate

Karadykan Estate, a historic specialty coffee farm in the Bababudangiri hills of Chikmagalur. Founded in the early 1900s, this unique estate spans 250 hectares at 1,200–1,400 MASL and grows Arabica, Canephora, and rare Liberica coffee. With spring-fed streams, a century-old hydroelectric water wheel, biodiversity-rich surroundings, and meticulous farm-to-cup processing, Karadykan produces some of India’s most distinctive coffees and became our personal favourite.

Gungegiri Estate

Gungegiri Estate is one of the historic farms behind April Origin coffees, founded in the early 1900s in the hills of Chikmagalur. Spread across 190 hectares at 880–1,280 MASL, the estate is sustained by year-round spring water, heavy rainfall, and native shade trees ideal for growing both Arabica and Robusta. Known for wildlife-rich surroundings, an ancient hilltop Shiva temple, and standout natural-process lots, Gungegiri produces bold, expressive coffees with depth, sweetness, and unmistakable character.

Attikan Estate

Attikan Estate is a historic coffee estate founded in 1887 in the highlands of the Nilgiris. Rising up to 1,650 MASL across 150 hectares, it is among India’s highest coffee-growing regions and an ideal environment for exceptional Arabica. Named after its wild fig groves, Attikan is known for shade-grown coffees with deep, earthy character, remarkable biodiversity, and a legacy of pioneering resilience that continues through generations today.
